Disney Cruise Line is exceptional at everything they do. From the delicious food to the plush beds, they have it covered. My kids (myself and husband included) enjoyed the Pirate Deck Party more than anything else we experienced.
We started out the night by getting into our pirate gear. This is not something you have to do, as not everyone will dress up for the event. If you choose not to bring a pirate outfit that is fine. Either way, there will be a pirate bandana left on your bed the day of the party that you can wear with your regular clothes if you wish. I decided to have matching outfits for the family, thanks to Harvard Homemakers blog about the DIY version. I went to Wal-Mart, bought white t-shirts and cut a jagged edge to the neck line, arm and waistline. I also let the kids pick out a fabric of their choice to make their bandana and belt. Here is a family photo prior to eating dinner.
We had dinner during the main seating time for this particular sailing. After dinner, we attended the Pirate Games which started at 7:30.
The Pirate Games starts with Captain Mickey and all his friends battling Captain Hook, which was a great show as always!

Everyone was having a great time…..until……

After the Pirate Games, we decided to watch Villains, which was another great show located in the Walt Disney Theatre. That show began at 8:30.

Once we were done with the Villains show, we came back to the deck party for the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks.
The deck party at night is awesome! Take a look!
The beginning of the show….
There are not enough words to describe how much fun we had here. I knew you would want to know exactly how great it was, so I decided to film it just for our readers!!
If you have questions, we would love to help you plan your next sailing on board Disney Cruise Line!
