Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is probably our favorite lobby to visit!

Pools

Yacht Club and Beach Club both share the same feature pool called Stormalong Bay. It is one of the most highly sought after pools at any Disney Resort. It is thought of more as a mini water park really. It has a zero entry, sandy bottom, slide and it’s own lazy river attached!

Transportation

One of the great benefits to staying at Yacht Club Resort is the short walk to Epcot’s International Gateway, as well as Disney’s Boardwalk Inn being just next door. International Gateway is a separate entrance from the main entrance into Epcot park. It opens up directly between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions in the World Showcase as seen below:

You can also take the Friendship Boat to Epcot or Hollywood Studios:

There is bus transportation to the other parks as well as Disney Springs. A great resource to understand all of the transportation options is Navigating with Disney World Transportation.
