Check In

Although you can check in as early as you would like, your room is not guaranteed to be ready until 3:00 pm.

As you enter the main lobby, you can’t help but to notice the intricate details throughout.

**TIP: If you are in the main lobby starting late afternoon and into the night, there will be live music! The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra as well as The Grand Floridian Lobby Pianist are sure to be a delight!

Gasparilla Island Grill serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dining. Enjoy either indoor or outdoor seating.

The feature pool is the Beach Pool with a slide and a water fall. It sits just next to the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Transportation

Monorail – The monorail makes a loop in this order leaving The Grand Floridian: Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort, Transportation and Ticket Center then Polynesian Village. If you are wanting to go to Epcot, you would switch monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Boarding for the monorail is located on the 2nd floor of the main building.

Bus – You can board a bus to go to anywhere on Disney property except Magic Kingdom. If you are traveling to another resort, you would have to transfer buses. The bus stop is located in front of the main building.

Water Transportation – there is a boat the loops Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village and Magic Kingdom.
