DETAILED REVIEW

Check In

Although you can check in as early as you would like, your room is not guaranteed to be ready until 3:00 pm. We highly recommend doing online check in, because at times the lines can become quite long for the check in process. This is something that your PPDD Travel Planner can do for you to save you time upon checking in.

Rooms

First, let’s look at the resort map.

movies map

There are 5 sections of buildings, each with a different theme: Toy Story, Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Love Bug and Mighty Ducks. The main building that houses the check in desk, World Premier Food Court and Donald’s Double Feature gift shop is called Cinema Hall. The bus stop for the parks is located just in front of Cinema Hall.

There are 2 room categories at this resort, both of which can be requested with 2 Double Beds or 1 King Bed.

  • Standard Room – sections include Mighty Ducks and Love Bug
  • Preferred Room – sections include Toy Story, Fantasia and 101 Dalmatians

There is a slight up charge for the preferred room, but well worth it. Not only does it get you closer to Cinema Hall, but you also get in the sections that most children prefer to be in. Here is a layout of the room:

Here is a video tour inside the room. This tour was actually at the All Star Music Resort, but all of the All Star rooms have the exact same layout, just different decor.

Now let’s take a walk through the different themed sections, so you can better choose which area suites your family.

Toy Story (preferred location)

**TIP: If you are staying in the Mighty Ducks section, it would be quicker for you to walk over to the All Star Music Resort to get on the bus since this section is a good distance from Cinema Hall.
