Chip ‘N’ Dale Harvest Feast at Garden Grill

by Casey Morris on November 1, 2014

If you have read any of my posts, you know that my kids LOVE Chip ‘N’ Dale! With that in mind, of course we have to dine with them! You can find them at Garden Grill, which is located in The Land Pavilion in Epcot.

This is actually a rotating restaurant. Don’t worry, you will not have to strap any seat belts on for this ride. The entire restaurant is round, and ever so SLOWLY turns. While turning, you can see the different scenes from the Living with the Land attraction.

Garden Grill is only open for dinner, which means that reservations can fill up quickly!

Let’s talk about the stars of the restaurant. Here you will be able to meet Chip, Dale, Farmer Mickey and Pluto.

SONY DSC Here she is not happy to have to share Chip!

Next, Pluto came to visit.

Every time we get to see Pluto, he always takes time to play!

Now time to love on Dale!

Do you know how to tell the difference between Chip ‘N’ Dale? There are several differences between them, but the way my kids keep up with it is Chip’s nose is dark, like a chocolate chip! There you go, now no more trying to remember who is who!

Farmer Mickey also came to the table, but I did not have my camera ready. I will update with a picture of him the next time we dine there!

Now, for the food! I will be honest, as always. I LOVE everything Disney has to offer, BUT, Garden Grill is not my favorite place to eat. Sure, we enjoy the characters….but the food could certainly be better! The food is brought to the table family style, which that part I do like a lot. That makes it much easier to catch the characters than trying to get up to a buffet.

Here is the menu, mostly for you to see what drinks are offered.

For an easier to read menu, click here for the Official Disney Menu.

First, warm bread and butter are brought to the table.

Then you will have the harvest inspired Farm Fresh Salad.

Your entree is brought on one large dish, which includes Char grilled Fillet of Beef with Red Wine Demi Glaze, Turkey Breast with House Made Gravy, Fish of the Day with Tomato Jam, garden fresh vegetables, and buttermilk mashed potatoes.

SONY DSC

Char grilled Fillet of Beef with Red Wine Demi Glaze was certainly my favorite of the three, which is odd. Fish is typically my favorite, but I personally was not a huge fan of this one.

Fish of the Day with tomato jam.

Turkey Breast with House made Gravy.

The kids were brought their own meal, which included a oven roasted chicken drumstick, baked macaroni and cheese, broccoli and sweet potato sticks. I was actually really impressed with the kids plate!

SONY DSC

Those sweet potato sticks were awesome!

Now, the biggest disappointment for myself….the dessert. They serve seasonal skillet dessert with vanilla bean whipped cream. Basically it is a fruit cobbler that the fillings can change based on the season. This was a blueberry skillet dessert.

SONY DSC

The kids were brought a cupcake cone with crisp pearls.

SONY DSC

See for yourself if you think the kids liked their dessert. 🙂

SONY DSC

Well, the icing “peeled” right off the cupcake cone!

We will certainly go back, due to the kids loving the characters. I just want readers to get an honest opinion from me about the food, so no surprises will happen for you when the food is brought!

If your kids love Chip ‘N’ Dale as well, be SURE to check out this free meet and greet with them!
